Welcome to Amelia Island Images!  I'm Ed Mathews, the owner and photographer.  My wife, Joyce, is also a major contributor to our success.  We've been in business since 1987, and have sold over a million photographs.

Our primary business is wholesaling photos with a post card style back to retail establishments in communities near our home.  For more information about our photographs, including a display of most of the post card scenes we offer by locality, click on Post Card Scenes.  We also sell enlargements of the post card scenes.

As a sales representative for Dynacolor Graphics, a world-class printer, we can provide a wide variety of printed products, like post cards, table tent cards, greeting cards, posters, rack cards, and brochures.

I also do contract photography for commercial clients for hourly or daily rates.

Our photographs have appeared in magazines, brochures, newsletters, greeting cards, posters, annual reports, audio and video cassette covers, Jacksonville International Airport, promotions, web sites, and the Guiness Book of World Records.

I operate Amelia Island Images from my home, and have neither a studio nor a  business location that is open to the public.  I have learned that I dislike photographing social events (weddings, receptions, and the like) to the point of not offering such services, except on rare occasions for friends or our church.
